Terms and Conditions

Assessments/ Reports

1. Initial or one- off Assessments with a full written report is £200.00.  This involves observations of the child, a case history, and formal and /or informal assessment. Half of this (£100.00) must be paid on the day of the assessment. The rest can be paid on completion of the report.

• • We charge £150 for assessment with a verbal report
  • If the case history and assessment take longer than 1 hour, then we will return to complete the assessment. Such subsequent sessions are charged at the rate for a therapy session (i.e. £80.00)
  • Parents are always contacted following this report to discuss any of the content.

NB: If you have insurance or charity vouchers you will have to cover the cost of the session until the company reimburses you.

2. EHCp report £320.00. This involves observations of the child, a case history, conversations with the school and parents and formal and /or informal assessment. Half of this (£160.00) must be paid on the day of the assessment. The rest can be paid on completion of the report.

3. Annual Review reports are £160.00

4. Termly Progress Reports on request. (£80.00)

5. Individual Education Plans summary forms (I.E.P.s) are £80.00

6. Early years informal assessment sessions are £80.00

7. S.L.T. School Programmes on request are £60.00

8. Review assessments assessment with a full written report (carried out after one year) are £200.00

9. Reports to be used for evidence in S.E.N. (e.g. quantifying sessions) are £400.00

10. Transfer reports are £120

Standard Consultation /Therapy Sessions

1. Speech and Language Therapy sessions will be up to 45 minutes and are £80.00 per session.

2. A session at home will include:

• Therapy session – the length of which is dependent on the child’s attention and motivation and is at the discretion of the therapist.
• Discussions with parents/carers in order to ensure that the skills learnt in the session will be generalized / carried over into every day life.

3. A session in school will include:

• Therapy session  – the length of which is dependent on the child’s attention, and motivation and is at the discretion of the therapist
• Liaison time with the school staff to inform them of the targets and progress in the session.

4. A session in clinic will include:

• Therapy session  – the length of which is dependent on the child’s attention, and motivation and is at the discretion of the therapist
• Liaison time with the parents to inform them of the targets and progress in the session.

5. A session could involve any of the following:

• Observing the child in various settings in the school/home environment
• Taking a Case History
• Carrying out therapy
• Carrying out an assessment
• Attending Annual Review meetings
• Attending I.E.P. target setting meetings
• Training of school staff and recommending strategies to use with the child.
• Discussing individuals with Teacher / parents
• Preparation / reading correspondence
• Writing case notes
• Overheads i.e. assessment materials, equipment, stationary
• Phone calls

6. It is not easy to predict treatment length. However, in cases where it would be long-term, it may be possible to offer an agreed number of treatment sessions with a mutual review of management after this period.

7. Group sessions are £65.00 per child

PAYMENT

1. 50 % of your first session is in advance in cleared funds whether it be an initial assessment (i.e. £100) or a therapy session (i.e. £40).

2. An invoice will be sent by email at the end of each calendar month. Payment should be made by BACS. Our bank details are: “Talk With Us LLP”. Account No: 56646593, Sort code: 60-14-27. As a reference, please indicate your child’s name.

3.  Travel within a 3 mile radius from NW11 7HB will not be charged. However, anything outside of the 3 mile radius will be charged at 45 pence /mile

4. Full payment is required if less than 24 hours notice is given to the therapist to cancel the session.

• When a child is seen in school, parents are responsible for informing the therapist if the child will not be in school (whether the reason is illness or a school organized visit)
• The session fee (i.e. £80.00) will be charged for Do Not Attends (i.e. those who don’t cancel but just fail to attend)

Late Payment

1. In the event of a late payment a repeat invoice will be sent out after a week.

2. If payment is not received within 5 working days of the repeat invoice being sent out, you will incur a £50.00 administration charge.

3. If payment is not received after a total of 28 days of receiving the original invoice, we reserve the right to take further action including legal proceedings.

Termination of sessions

• If you decide to terminate the sessions, notice of 4 face to face sessions is required which commences from the date that you inform the therapist.
• Any unattended sessions will be charged.
• No notice can be given to cancel the session.
